Is the course Cer­ti­fied? a Boston Qualifier?

No, sorry, it’s not a BQ. A course needs USATF cer­ti­fi­ca­tion to be a BQ, and trail courses are very dif­fi­cult to cer­tify due to the vari­ety of run­ning sur­faces encoun­tered. Also, some­times the actual length of a trail race depends on what­ever dis­tance is needed to get you out of the woods…

May I reg­is­ter in per­son? by mail?

How long do I have to fin­ish the race?

There is a 30 hour time limit for the 100mile and 100k ultras…….

Is the course stroller friendly?

All Run Wood­stock course cover rocky, rooty and hilly ter­rain often along a sin­gle track trail, so strollers are not allowed on the course.

Is the course pet friendly?

As fond as we are of the K-​9 Corps, we will not allow them on the course for the com­fort and safety of other runners.

I was injured after reg­is­ter­ing for the race. Can I get a refund or defer until next year?

No – there will be NO refunds or defer­ments. We incur fixed costs for each run­ner based on reg­is­tra­tion num­bers. As a result, we are not able to allow any refunds.

Can I switch race distances?

You may trans­fer your reg­is­tra­tion from one dis­tance to another for a fee. Con­tact This email address is being pro­tected from spam­bots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or you may com­plete your trans­fer at packet pickup. We strongly encour­age you to com­plete all trans­fers prior to race week­end. The trans­fer cost does increase as race week­end approaches.

Can I trans­fer my reg­is­tra­tion to a friend?

Is there an age require­ment for the races?

There is no require­ment. How­ever, all minors must sub­mit a reg­is­tra­tion signed by their par­ent and a parent/​guardian must be present on race day.

What is included with my entry fee?

Your race entry fee includes park­ing, an event shirt, finisher’s medal, aid sta­tion ser­vices, drop bag ser­vice for ultras, award eli­gi­bil­ity, post race refresh­ments, race week­end con­certs, fun runs, yoga, chip tim­ing and final race results.

Can I wear head­phones on the course?

We dis­cour­age the use of head­phones on the Run Wood­stock course.

Will the event go on rain or shine?

The event will go on rain or shine with only the pos­si­bil­ity of delay in the event of lightning.

How many water sta­tions are there on the course? What type of energy drink and gel will be available?

The Flower Power 5 Mile will have water stops at miles 2 and 4. The full and half marathon will have aid sta­tions approx­i­mately every 4 miles with water, Gatorade and GU at all of them. Ultra aid sta­tions will be avail­able approx­i­mately every 4 miles with any type of aid you could imag­ine want­ing. If what you are look­ing for is not there, then you don’t need it!

Are there bath­rooms avail­able on the course?

There will be port-​o-​johns avail­able in some parts along the course. If you choose to make nature your bath­room we ask you to be sure to “bury it” where applicable.

I don’t remem­ber if I reg­is­tered. How can I check and find out?

If you reg­is­tered online you can log into your Web­con­nex account and select “Reg­is­tra­tions” to see your com­pleted reg­is­tra­tion. If you reg­is­tered by mail or in per­son you will receive a con­fir­ma­tion email once your reg­is­tra­tion was received and submitted.

Can some­one pick my packet up for me?

We strongly encour­age all run­ners to pick up their own race packet. It is impor­tant for run­ners to ver­ify their data and make any nec­es­sary changes. How­ever, if it is not pos­si­ble for you to pick-​up your own packet, you may have some­one pick it up for you. That per­son will be respon­si­ble for turn­ing in the runner’s signed Waiver and ver­i­fy­ing per­sonal race infor­ma­tion (name, age, birth­date, etc.). Pack­ets will not be given out with­out the signed Waiver.

Can I reg­is­ter on the day of the race?

Yes, there is race day reg­is­tra­tion avail­able at Hell Creek Ranch start­ing at 5am through to 15 min­utes prior to each race start.

Fri­day: Lemon James rocks at 3:55 with the National Anthem to send off the far out 100 mil­ers. You don’t want to miss this, also yoga at 5 pm, night run at 7:30 and rock and roll!
Sat­ur­day: The party starts to get seri­ous Sat­ur­day morn­ing about 6am when Randy cranks up the micro­phone to usher in the run­ning of the Peace, Love and 50M/​K start and the races start
Sun­day: Get ready to boo­gie down on the Free Love 5 Mile that has a long his­tory of blow­ing minds and set­ting you free at the same time … then the sad trip home …
